"Not for very long," I reply, ducking my head briefly. I pull out a chair for her.
"The skill set I've developed over the years isn't as useful here as it was back home. There are emergencies, but day to day life is... probably the most peaceful I've ever seen," I tell her, waiting until she's seated to pull out a chair of my own, across from her.
"And I guess I couldn't handle being useless, so I thought... why not."
